Francis 'Kiko' Magalona, the multi-awarded Filipino rap icon, died at the Medical City Hospital in Mandaluyong at noon time today (March 06, 2009). He has been fighting leukemia for almost eight months and he was consistently strong and brave throughout this fight.

This has been announced by Eat Bulaga host Vic Sotto in Eat Bulaga this afternoon that shocked all the viewers of the said TV program.

We will surely miss you Kiko. Thank you for being a great inspiration to all of us. You will stay in our hearts forever. Rest in peace master rapper.
