It's officially summer in the Philippines!

Have you observed lately the scorching heat of the sun? Have you experienced walking on the streets at around 12:00 in the afternoon? Have you felt how the sun melts you literary? Well... that only means one thing.. IT'S SUMMER!!!

So what are your plans? Where are you heading? Will you just be staying at home? Will you be planning the places that you will visit? Hmmm... The thought of 'planning' makes me want to just drive and stop where I think is the place to spend summer..

Anyway, my summer started very early. On the first week of February, my friend Reuel treat us to Puerto Galera. its his birthday treat for his high school barkadas. And even though it's not yet officially summer that time, we still enjoyed the sun, the beach, and the cold water... it's windy that time... but who cares? i so love the beach and i maximized my time staying there.

But as for the really summer get away, I will be going to Cebu on the last week of March. yey! it's m first time to ride the airplane and it's also my first time to plan a trip like this. i took advantage of the seat sale in Cebu Pacific and search for the best beach resorts in Cebu. Luckily, i found Alegre Beach Resort and you will be expecting my review and experience of that resort on April. yey! :)

share your summer escapades by leaving a comment or a message here on the Blog :) looking forward to hear from you soon :)

Boyce Avenue Live in Manila!

The youtube sensation Boyce Avenue went to Manila last weekend and I can say that Filipinos do love them! :)

Here was gig sched:
February 12 - SM Cebu, 6:00 p.m.
February 13 - SM Mall of Asia, 7:00 p.m.
February 14 - SM North Edsa, 5:00 p.m.
February 15 - SM Megamall, 7:30 p.m.

I witnessed how this band performs live last Friday on SM Mall of Asia. I left the office early so I could beat up the traffic, and thankfully I arrived the mall on time. I waited for my sister because she's a fan of the band... and I'm just a... well... chaperon.

I waited for my sister at National Booksore. While waiting, I decided to look for a romantic valentine's card for my partner. She arrived at exactly 6:15 p.m and we went together at the venue.

The venue is already jam-packed with teenagers, lovers, and kids (of course with their parents). The front row (where there are chairs and people can sit on it on a first come first serve basis) was already full. so we have no choice but to stand at the back close to the cameraman.

The concert started on-time but they didn't inform the viewers that Kyla will be there as an opening act (or at least I didn't know she will be there). Anyway, moving on, boyce avenue started playing at exactly 7:30 p.m. People went crazy when alejandro started singing their first song. Their first song was their version of Apologize by One Republic. They remake songs and make an acoustic version so beautifully! They sang lots of cover songs such as With You, Wonderwall, Umbrella, Freshmen, and their medley song Tatoo and No One. Alejandro Manzano (the lead vocalist) is very talented. I was praying they play their version of Forever (originally sung by Chris Brown) but to no avail. Oh well..

The concert was great! I just had some issues with the people in front of us (especially those who are in front of my sister) who doesn't care about other people. They were so tall and yet they force themselves to be in front. I mean, what the heck?

Anyway, they were very friendly and they love the Filipino crowd (that's what they said) and they're very cool. I wish they visit the Philippines again and I hope they'll release a compilation album of all their cover songs. I so love them! and I so love how they remake the songs :)

Finally... An Update!

yes... you heard (or read) it right... an update... oh well... let's just say I decided to re-launch this Blog (even if the contest has already ended so many decades ago. lol...) because I realized that I have been traveling a lot already. I'm fond of blogging all of my trips and I'm now an active member on TripAdvisor giving out my reviews of the resorts and hotels I've stayed in.

So now, I have this Blog to compile all of my travel stories but I would like to focus more on giving out resort and hotel reviews so I will be a big help for those people who like to visit the place I've already been in.

Be free to ask questions ;)
