Pedring (International Name: Nesat) is a signal #2 typhoon that just hit the Philippines. Classes in all levels are suspended and everyone is asked to just stay at home if there were no important things to do or go to.
Phone signal is weak at where I am right now. Electricity has been shut off because of the strong winds but thank God, I'm safe inside our house with my family.
When Ondoy happened at exactly two years ago, almost the whole Philippines was affected. Floods everywhere, landslides on the mountains, and an alarming number of people who died are the headlines of the news. I'm hoping that people learned their lesson because of what happened and is more prepared this time. Just always be safe wherever you are right now.
