Is this the real meaning of Paradise Philippines? Bombing everywhere?!?! I know this Blog is created to up sell the beauty and wonders of the paradise Philippines, but I think it would be unfair if we'll not discuss some of the tragic moments that our paradise Philippines have.
Last Friday, October 19, 2007, at exactly 1:30 in the afternoon, an explosion was heard at Glorietta Mall 2 in Makati City. People panicked causing a stampede on the location. Many got hurt but the worst part was some people have died because of this tragic incident.
The last news I got was that 11 persons has already been declared dead (one injured man has been declared dead by the hospital just yesterday and a body of a 23-year old woman was found dead buried at the basement part of the mall). Up to this time, 70+ people were injured.
Investigators and policemen said they still don't have any clue whose to blame in the bombing but they're doing their very best to solve this case.
Let us all pray that this may never happen again and let us help all the victims of this tragic moment.
To all the family, friends, and loved ones of the people who passed away because of the bombing, we offer our full-hearted condolences.
May your loved one's soul rest in peace. AMEN.

I was with my officemates (emz, carlo, romz, bheng, annalyn, ceriz, rico, yow, and mike a.) at Landmark food court before this tragic moment happened. We were happily eating our lunch and enjoying our time together that I took two pictures while we're there.
we decided to eat our lunch at landmark food court. we were few steps away from Glorietta. actually, we were kind of thinking to go to Glorietta to eat our lunch. fortunately, we were saved by our angels and led us to be unharmed. right after eating, just few steps away from landmark... we're at the catwalk going back to the office, we saw lots of fire trucks, polices, ambulances and there we found that there has been an explosion.
i'm really thankful that we were all completely unharmed...
Thank you Lord.
But the tragic moment of Paradise Philippines doesn't end there. Unaware of what might happen, or shall I say 'aftershock' of the incident last Friday, the mall decided to open Glorietta 1, 3, and 4 (the unaffected part) last Saturday and Sunday. When suddenly, a fire hits the second floor of Glorietta 4 coming from one of its seafood restaurants. Fortunately, no one got hurt but this is nothing to celebrate about. Is this just a coincidence or someone really is behind this tragic incidents on our paradise Philippines?
Please always be careful when you're going somewhere. May it be to the mall, to the park, or to the market, please be fully conscious of your surrounding and never panic on events such as this for it will not help you in anyway. Stay focus, stay calm and always pray to God to send his guardian angels to protect you and your loved ones.
